TRANSFORMATION

Lord Jesus, I want to become the best version of myself, I want to know you more, I want to do your will and I want to be a carrier of your glory. But I can't seem to make them happen, I can't seem to actualize them. My strength fails me, I want to but I can't. The passion to seek you is gone, and the desire is slowly fading away. Psalm 51.

You're in awe...are you still the same person who was so enthusiastic about the things of God? You begin to doubt the authenticity of who you are in Christ. Where am I? What am I? Why am I like this? The devil gradually begins to invade your thoughts and makes you feel worthless.

You allow it because you tell yourself what else can I do? I have tried, I have prayed, I have fasted, but it's still the same. It keeps on going in cycles; I keep rising and falling, there is no result in it.

You comfort yourself and say, "What will be will be?"Does God not see all of these things and watch me wallow in this situation? Titus 3:5- “He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life. Do not condemn yourself and don't allow yourself to be condemned by the devil.

Transformation is a process of change into the likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a gradual process. But we all, with an open face beholding as in a glass, the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).

David found courage and strength to fight Goliath and later became king, Zacchaeus changed his ways after Jesus met with Him, and Jonah found courage after God intervened through the use of a large fish.
Allow Jesus to meet with you again, give him another chance, stop guilt-tripping yourself with the fact that you have fallen alot of times and you can't track the number of times you have had to surrender yourself again, it doesn't matter to Him John 15.

God looks at the intent of your heart. He is a forgiving father and He is ready to transform your life totally. Jesus did not condemn you, so why do you condemn yourself. He is concerned about your growth and He wants to see you go through the process even if it means failing again. He is ready to help you get it right because His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Therefore, be of good cheer, I have overcome the world said the Lord. (John 16:33).

Trust God for a transformation as you set your goal for this year and run with it. And the LORD answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a lifelong process, so we shouldn’t be discouraged or impatient. God is very happy to let this genuine change transpire in us by the gradual spreading of His life. The main thing is that we need to spend time to behold the Lord and continually eat and drink (Romans 12:2). And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God.

One way we can eat spiritual food is by praying with the words of the Bible to receive the nourishing supply of life from God’s word. A person who is physically undernourished can’t grow. Similarly, in order to grow spiritually, we need to consistently take in the nourishment found in God’s word. It’s good to start the day and year with a healthy “spiritual breakfast.” Then throughout the day, we can take a break to “re-chew” a verse or phrase we prayed with in the morning, or “eat” another verse in the Bible and also mediate on His word (Joshua 1:8).

Calling on the name of the Lord is a great way to drink of the Lord. At any time, we can say, “Oh, Lord Jesus,” I love You.” We can call on Him to begin our day, even before we get out of bed. Whenever we feel spiritually thirsty, we can simply call upon the name of the Lord Jesus to take another drink of Him. Transformation is a part of God’s complete salvation for us. (Philippians 1:6)

It's a new year, my dear, why don't you start afresh with the help of the Holy Spirit? He is calling you into a deeper experience with him. Jesus is ever ready to help you but are you willing to allow Him and trust the process as the saying goes. Yes, there will be ups and down as you journey but can you trust Him this time to help you to become better? (2 Peter 1:3).

Allow Him to transform you totally and when you fall, rise up again like a soldier. Keep up the race, the journey ahead is still far. Take up your cross soldier and do not relent. God is saying you should trust the process as you journey with Him this year. God's best and Happy New Year❤️Remember God loves you and wants the best for you all round and not just spiritually alone.
